About Pierre Metellus

3PM Design Founder and President, Pierre Metellus previously worked for a Food Service consulting company in NY for eight years. His position there afforded him the opportunity to work directly with the owner, and vice president of the company. He worked on designing the Children's Hospital in Boston in addition to its room service kitchen. The unique design made it possible for the children to call and order their favorite meals. The servery was designed like a market place with different platforms. Each platform could represent a particular culture or cuisine. In addition, he was project manager for the Marriott Marquis Sushi bar, Soho Hotel, Mandarin Hotel, and Inova Fairfax Hospital in Virginia that had a cold tray lines for tray deliveries to patient's rooms.

Pierre's design project experiences are in Restaurants, Hotels, B&I, Universities, Hospitals, and Schools and projects where the client appreciates the professional knowledge consultants afford them.

Recent projects include the following: The Broadmoor Hotel, Asian and Mexican restaurants, the Adams 12, Adams 50, Thompson Valley, and Steamboat school districts.

Enhancing the Profession

We continue to advance our level of knowledge and professionalism within the food service arena through research, attending the National Restaurant Association (NRA) shows, visiting food service equipment Manufacturers factories or plants to learn new technologies, and attending the North America Association of Food Equipment Manufacturers (NAFEM).
