This is an Elementary School in Steam Boat, Colorado. We designed the kitchen to serve 300-400 students. The design features a U-Shape serving line that allow the students to divide unto two around the island salad bar, fruits and snack pick-up.
The kitchen has a cooking line of a four burner, steamer and a double deck convection oven. At the center of the kitchen in front of the cooking line is the landing area as an island prep table with prep equipment on booth sides. We have a combination walk-in cooler freezer that allows the cold air from the freezer to scape into the cooler with minimal was of energy. |
